The Institute of Leadership and Management’s recent “Creating a Coaching Culture” Research Report identifies that organisations that implement work based coaching programme benefit in terms of improved individual and organisational performance.  Their independent survey of 250 large organisations concluded that:

 

92% of Coached Managers see their performance improve

96% of Organisations see the benefits of coaching to the individual

95% see that coaching benefits the organisation as a whole

 

So whether your hotel or venue has fully embraced a coaching culture or not here are 3 Steps you can implement within your sales team to unlock the team’s full potential and boost performance.

 

1)    Encourage your team to become more self aware and challenge themselves

2)    Reposition your leadership style from Manager/Expert to Manager/Coach

3)    Get some training!  Coaching is complex and challenging.  Coaching is not a skill you can learn just by having a go.  We would recommend you talk to a trusted training advisor for help with finding the right coaching solution for you and your team.
